HERVEY
HOUSE

for the design are complete handicap accessibility and energy
efficiency. |

An open space
plan, wider hallway, a large bathroom, and a lower kitchen counter
and sink are some of the many features added to make the house handicap
accessible.
Another
feature is a second-floor porch off the rear second-story bedroom,
providing a comfortable spot to enjoy the expansive rear yard. A
large front porch provides residents with a semi-social and semi-private
gathering place.
The
exterior walls will be composed of energy-efficent Hebel blocks
and panels.
