A seafood
restaurant that is approximately 3,400 square feet in size.
The interior has a contemporary look, utilizing trendy materials
such as copper finishes and stained concrete flooring. A central
focus includes a "classical" fountain with a copper
clad 5' high partition separating the bar from the dining area.
All types of seating, from "high-back" booths to varying
sizes of table seating, along with a wide variety of foods to
choose, allows for different dining experiences at each visit. |

Originally a 6,000 square-foot Shoney's,
the owner desired to "de-Shoney-fy" the looks of the
building. Budget and schedule were the main issues affecting
the design. This restaurant was the first to introduce the "Mongolian
Grill" dining concept to the Triangle area. |

The
building was originally "Pyewackets" restaurant, a
local favorite; the main design objective was to create a fresh
new look while keeping in mind a tight budget and schedule issues.
Utilizing previously covered skylights and exposing the structure
enhances the dining area, giving it a larger and lighter atmosphere. |
